New from Sir George Fistonich and his winemaking team headed by Michelle Richardson comes the Oblix/Obliix brand. This is a hugely floral syrah-dominant wine, fleshed out with 12% malbec and 8% viognier to create a light, bright, highly juicy and fantastically fresh red wine that heaves with berries and blossoms on the nose, with hints of soft smoke and a lift of spice. All those things osmose across the palate and leave a rich, juicy, chillable-on-a-sunny-day mouthfeel that’ll waken even the most tired tastebuds.
