This single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is from Two Rivers’ Saint Maur Vineyard located in the silty clay and gravel soils of Marlborough’s Southern Valleys. It was wild/naturally fermented and then aged for 14 months on yeast lees in a combo of concrete eggs tank and clay amphorae. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with super-low sulphur, it was further matured in individually numbered bottles sealed with a diam cork and wax for a further 16 months before release. Complex citrus and soft herbaceous tones merge with olive brine and marzipan notes on the nose and palate. Creamy-textured, beautifully balanced and roaring with crisp, clean complexity. Love it.
