Bristol Farm Central Otago Pinot Noir 2018 $49 
Woah. This new vintage of Bristol Farm by winemaker Brendan Seal, is quite the different beast to later years. It’s very savoury, earth-driven, with aromas of rain on a freshly-ploughed paddock. Cherry, berry and soft raspberry characters make themselves known and replicate on the palate. Soft, velvety and apart from having some mid-palate filling out to do – it’s an attractive wine.
