Re-tasting this two years after release, all I can say is that if you have this in your cellar, see it on a wine list or discover a bottle hidden away on a shop shelf then dive in!! Oh lord, today this wine is overdelivering in every sense of the word. Roaring with baked stonefruit, spiced oak and grilled pineapple aromas, and flooding the palate with juicy, poached peach and a lick of toasted almond on the palate. It’s fresh, energetic and bouyant and creates an incredibly impactful impression. Which is a really pompous way of saying it absolutely bangs and I wish I could find another bottle pronto!
