Carrick Unravelled Organic Central Otago Pinot Noir 2022 $32 (released August 2024) 
Playing on their knotty branding, this pinot by winemaker Rosie Menzies is a different take on the classic Carrick style. It’s lighter, looser, a little more wild and a little more easygoing. Freshly turned earth, tea leaf, baked cherry and stewed rhubarb all wash across the nose and palate. This blend of 9 different parcels of pinot slept for 8 months in oak which adds to the savoury spice note on the finish.
