The Supernatural Hawke’s Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2022 $35 
A sauvignon that’s very much in its own situation with classic Hawke’s Bay generosity and softness. Yet the addition of six hours on skins, wild fermentation, lees stirring and only a teensy dose of sulphur at bottling has given it a creamy complexity that leads from apple to lime to saline all in the space of seconds. Gentle and juicy and nicely made from a cooler vintage.
