Obliix Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2023 $23 
Fact: when people find out you like wine, they’ll ask what your favourite wines are, and when this happens to me, I can never think of the name of any wine I’ve sipped in my entire life. But this new sauvignon by Sir George Fistonich is stamped in my memory thanks to its herbaceous complexity, citrus saturation, and layers of basil and lime. Intensely aromatic and zesty, it has great palate density and sings with Chinese cucumber salad.
