As a fan of creamy complexity, I leapt up, down, and sideways for this new release from one of our favourite Nelsonian producers. Creamy coconut, almond, and nectarine niceness abound in this smooth, soothing chardonnay. It’s a style that’s also toasty, calm, assured, and groovy enough to get you on the dance floor with a long, lip-puckeringly grippy finish that delivers boogie wonderland in a bottle. Warning: don’t overchill this wine, because that’ll squeeze it into skinny jeans when it should be in bell-bottoms. Shrimp cocktail? Aye, cap’n! Drink now through 2028.
