Rock Ferry Orchard Vineyard Organic Marlborough Pinot Rosé 2022 $25 
You’d be forgiven for thinking that just because this wine is called a ‘pinot rosé’ that it’s made entirely from pinot noir (as many rosés are). But this organically awesome thing is in fact a blend of pinot noir and also pinot blanc and pinot gris. Harvested together on the same day and processed together as a field blend with an aromatic yeast then aged on its lees for 6 months, this rosé has red-fruited energy, creamy complexity and depth from its nashi, cherry, soft apple and spiced quince characters. Vibrant and fun.
