Brockenchack Mackenzie William 1896 Eden Valley Riesling 2022 $30 
Founded by Trevor and Marilyn Hartch, this snappy-dry riesling is named after their eldest grandson Mack and the fact that vines have been growing in their little corner of the Barossa since the late 19th century. It rolls with clean lime and apple notes, quartzy mineral layers, green pear and lemon pith layers across the nose and palate. The textures on the finish are prickly-fresh and feisty.
