This is one of those hearty, ribsticking, salivatingly salty soups that screams out to be paired with a plush, plump, punchy rosé like this new release from Jules Taylor. Based in Marlborough, Jules has travelled northward to Gisborne to find a few tonnes of ripe, plummy merlot with which to fashion into a rosé with enough weight and body to bounce through even the frostiest of winter days.
