Sorrell The Wrekin Marlborough Pinot Noir 2021 $tbc
Bright, exotic spices and layers of rooibos tea and rhubarb roll around a core of dark cherry and cranberry characters. It’s a fresh, youthful pinot noir from the certified organic Wrekin vineyard located in Fairhall, in Marlborough’s Southern Valleys sub-region, and it’s definitely going to be one to watch over the coming couple of years. Soft smoky notes, hints of baking spices and plummy pungency make it deliciously drinkable.
