Wölffer Estate Long Island Summer In A Bottle Rosé 2021 $55 
When was the last time you sipped something from Long Island that wasn’t iced tea? While that’s a seriously tasty drink, it doesn’t measure up to this dry and snappy smorgasbord of (deep breath in) merlot, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, riesling, gewürztraminer, pinot meunier, syrah and sauvignon blanc. A blend which, according to my mate Joanna, is “nuts good.” And I concur. Now the New Yorkian label might well resemble a mélange à découpage et collage, yet it’s deceptively rich and supported by zesty cherry, peach, yellow plum, and raspberry layers. Deliciously dry and darn lovely with roast pork belly baked with orange and star anise. Drink now through 2024.
