From a season which couldn’t be more perfect for sticky, noble rot to set in amongst the bunches of riesling, this wine has won so many gold medals, that owner Kevin Courtney had to hammer some extra brackets into the trophy cabinet! Glossy-bronze and erupting with caramelised citrus, marmalade, allspice and apricots on the nose, and washing toffeed citrus intensity across the tongue. Crystalised mango and honey add to its complexity which vibrant, zesty acidity creates perfect balance and poise. Make no mistake, this is an absolute NZ icon in the sweet wine sphere. Magical.
