What I really enjoy about this wine is its soft, floral aromas, lifted leather and spice layers and slippery, fleshy mouthfeel. It’s silky and lithe and shows lovely restraint and poise. The acidity is energetic and perky, yet the wine is developing some maturity and its tannins are very fine rather than chewy. A subtle smoke element reflects its oak treatment and adds to it’s lovely length of flavour
