Poderi Dal Nespoli Campodora Albana Secco Romagna DOCG 2020

The region of Romagna has Veneto and Lombardy on its northern boundary, Piedmont and Liguria on the west, and TuscanyMarche, and San Marino in the south. Legend has it that back in 435AD the daughter of Roman Emperor Theodosius II arrived in a small village in Romagna on a white donkey, and the villagers were so overcome with her beauty that they offered her some of the area’s excellent wine (made from the Albana grape) from a simple terra cotta jug. Erupting with citrus blossom, apricot stone and spring florals, this incredibly fresh, zesty, lemon-layered wine has richness and a long, spice-soaked finish.
