What you have here is gewürztraminer that’s been boosted by a splash of pinot gris which catapult the spicy notes into high gear. I really like it because it’s a rich, full-on, face slap of lychee, ginger, stonefruit and spice. Slightly sweet and loaded with nashi niceness, there’s even a soft, grainy texture to the finish which makes it smile-inducing with these Asian-styled salmon parcels.
