Released as part of a shiny new range and boasting an updated Giesen crest. The crest has been around since their first wines of the 1980’s and incorporates the Southern Cross stars, the ship which represents the journey that Alex, Theo and Marcel made to Aotearoa and the swan, a nod to Lake Ellesmere when the brothers first landed in Canterbury. But what of the wine! I hear you scream. Well it has soft, lemongrass, basil and tomato leaf layers on the nose and a bright, peachy, classically Marlborough mid-palate and finish. Easy, breezy, tutti fruity.
