Crafted by Antony Worch at Alexandra Vintners and carefully shepherded to the winery by the multi-talented Kenneth McGrath, this pinot noir is hugely aromatic and heaving with berry blossoms, black tea and motorcycle-leathers. Wild cherry, blueberry and fuzzy, woolly notes make this a fresh, youthful yet highly complex pinot noir. Apple skin astringency and warmth on the finish make this a memorable sip and showcases how a challenging vintage can be carefully handled. Very youthful, so hang on to it for another year or three.
