Bright, vibrant and cherry-saturated, here’s a slippery-textured, smooth and softly spiced pinot noir sourced from quality vineyards in the South Central Hawke’s Bay sub-regions of Porangahau and Waipawa. Sites boasting a range of soil types include limestone and argillite which (when combined with a long, dry, Hawke’s Bay summer) inject both fruit sweetness and magical minerality, it’s pretty darn yummy. Matured for a year in a combo of stainless-steel tanks and older, seasoned 228-litre French oak barriques, it’s soft, plush, velvety and a friendly little example.
