Named after the Mark III Ford of the same brand, a sleek, 15ft long vehicle that made up for its lack of legroom with lashings of ladykilling style. Such a fan is winemaker Ben Glover of this motor, that he named his own, limited edition sauvignon blanc after it. And the wine purrs just the same as that 2553cc engine, and thanks to its wild fermentation in oak barrels, it delivers a healthy amount of smoke and funk on its acceleration up the nasal passage and down the oesophagus. Lemongrass, fennel, green apple and a tweak of tarragon on the finish adds crazy-good complexity.
