With ‘chief winemaker’ titles from Wither Hills, Mud House and Zephyr, and a past Chair of Pinot Noir New Zealand, is also one of the most highly awarded pinot crafters in the country. Exclusive to WineFriend, his personal project from the ‘Claim 431’vineyard in the Bendigo sub-region shows lovely ‘florality’, exotic spices, red cherry and hedgerow herbs. It’s a silky and precise yet soothing pinot that rocks with beef tataki.
