Lawson’s Dry Hills Marlborough Pink Pinot 2019 $25 
If your recent rosé experiences have been a tad lacklustre, and you’ve been looking for love in all the wrong places, then PINK is here to help. Bish, bolshy, bold and with meat on its bones, PINK is made from 100% Pinot Noir from Lawson’s Chaytors Road vineyard, which is close to the coast in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley. Crafted from the first grapes to be picked from the outstanding 2019 harvest, the juice was briefly left in contact with the skins before being pressed to stainless steel for a cool ferment with specially imported yeasts from southern France. The result is a raspberry, watermelon and cherry-centric sip that’s sexy, refreshing and rewarding on flavours. Long and luscious, it’s a great example to see in the Spring season.
