Well, I’ll be pounded, egged and covered in crumbs Batman. In fact, any chicken recipe just screams out for the finest chardonnay you can lay your hands on. I was incredibly fortunate to have a bottle of the stunning Dog Point Marlborough Chardonnay 2016 within arms reach as I crafted a sneaky Chicken Cotoletta with shaved brussels sprouts rocket and hazelnut salad. Man was it a glorious match with the delicately herbed chicken and the richness of the hazelnuts. Racy citrus, caramelised oak, creamy, smoky notes, and a fabulously flinty finish make this an absolute treasure of a chardonnay. More, please!
