So on the front label, it says ‘certified organic’, ‘wild ferment’, ‘single vineyard’ and ‘vegan friendly’, however, that doesn’t really tell the whole story because this wine, (produced by Seresin alma mater Clive Dougall) is also all kinds of tasty. And that’s the most important thing right? Bursting with lemongrass, bruised basil, peach and citrus characters, it’s crunchy-fresh and cracking with flavour. It absolutely outclasses the bog-standard, boring, one-dimensional, passionfruit-heavy sauvignon’s on the market and I love it. Only tiny amounts of this wine were produced, however, so if sauvignon blanc spins your wheels, you should buckle up and buy it fast!
