Bob short for Kate Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2019 ($tbc) 
Well if you were amping to taste a feisty, frisky, fanging-with-flavour sauvignon blanc then this is the knees of the bees. Certified organic and created by sauvignon blanc master Ben Glover, Awash with lemon verbena, passionfruit and lime sorbet, peach and crushed basil brilliance, it’s a quencher and a half. ‘Bob’ is dedicated to Ben’s late sister Kate, a legendary young drama teacher who sadly lost her battle with cancer in 2018. ‘Bob’ was also the alias of the ever-resourceful Kate, who disguised herself as a boy to become Blackadders’ manservant and retain the roof over her ageing father’s head. They were both very clever girls with packets of personality.
