Olly Masters makes the wine for Andy and Misha Wilkinson from grapes that hang on for dear life to their steep, schisty vineyard on the slopes of Bendigo. Olly is considered the king of the aromatics and he always aims to please with his pinot greez (bit of phonics there). Dry, crisp and chalky. I love the scent of caramelised pear and baked apple stuffed with spices, followed by its rich, powdery texture and marathon-like finish. It’s also sensational with teriyaki salmon skewers.
