I tasted this wine during Māori Language Week, so it was lovely to learn that Tiritiri means ‘to plant and/or cultivate’. And they’ve well and truly planted a thirst for great rosé after releasing this. It’s a rosé crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grown in Nelson’s Moutere clays; it’s so full of energy it could be an aerobic champ from the 80’s in a bottle! But yet its beautifully elegant and as balanced as a ballerina. Stylish, superbly crafted, and bursting with bright raspberry, soft strawberry, a whiff of white pepper and finishing with so much juicy red cherry, that the world is a better place.
