Carrick Pot De Fleur Organic Bannockburn Pinot Noir 2025 $45 
Crafted organically from 100% whole-cluster Clone 777 fruit grown in their ‘Triangle’ block, this is the first time winemaker Rosie Menzies has used this block to build the Pot De Fleur. Fermented as whole berries under a CO2 blanket in 4 ‘pots’ that were then foot-stomped, then hand-plunged daily until she was happy with the level of dryness. No added sulphur, no additions at all, actually, not fined or filtered, this is about as hands-off as you can get. But prepare for a fragrant and fabulously feral heft of complex herbaceousness from the stemmy, charred orchard wood, smoked rhubarb and scorched cherry notes. Freshly turned earth and brick dust seal the deal on every sip.
