Carrick Pot De Fleur Bannockburn Pinot Noir 2024 $45

This new release is an organic, single-site, single-clone, whole-cluster, carbonic-fermented, foot-stomped, unsulfured creation, matured for 8 months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. It has a fabulously feral, smoked fennel and charred rhubarb aroma spectrum with sweet, juicy, ripe cherry and redcurrant characters on the palate. Creamy textured and softly spiced, it’s laced with dried herbs and hints of comforting cough drop. It’s also named after the small, flower-pot-shaped fermenters they use during its creation.  Its label is designed by local artist Margarita Vovna, and the background is a reproduction of the paper which Margarita creates from up-cycling Guadalupe County ranchers’ flannel.
