Kererū Brewing Moose Maybe Hazy Red IPA 330ml ($32.50x6pk can)

Named after the thought-to-be-extinct-but-people-still-claim-sightings-of-it moose which were released into New Zealand’s Fiordland National Park early last century, this rich, deep, amber-hued and ever-so-slightly cloudy ale is one heck of an animal. I would go so far as to say, it’s pretty horny, in a dangerously tasty 6.2%abv sort of way. Crafted from a blend of kiwi hops alongside Mosaic and El Dorado American hops and the added biscuity brilliance of locally-grown malts, oats and wheat – it’s  a wildly complex, creamy, saucy sip with a resinous, bitter edge. Love it!
